Ella es la primera chef mexicana en ganar una estrella Michelin en el extranjero

Para los restaurantes en el mundo, ser galardonados con una estrella Michelin implica de mucho trabajo y esfuerzo.

Parte importante de este esfuerzo se debe a los Chefs detrás de los exquisitos platillos.

Recientemente, la chef mexicana Karime López, obtuvo su primer estrella Michelin como parte de la Guía Michelin Italia 2020, por su labor en el restaurante Gucci Osteria de Massimo Bottura, ubicado en Florencia, Italia, y en el cual crea platillos desde enero del 2018.

A dos años de su apertura, Gucci Osteria ya cuenta con tres estrellas Michelin y en agradecimiento a la labor como Chef de Karime López, publicó en su cuenta oficial de Instagram el siguiente mensaje:

"Su menú para el restaurante desafía la percepción tradicional de la cocina italiana, creando tomas divertidas de platos clásicos"

La chef cuenta con una amplia experiencia en España, Dinamarca, Japón y Perú, así como también en México, pues formó parte del restaurante ‘Pujol’ de Enrique Olvera.

Con esta estrella Michelin, Karime López se suma a los chefs Indra Carrillo, Paco Méndez, Cosme Aguilar, Roberto Ruiz y Carlos Gaytán, quienes también han sido galardonados con estrellas Michelin.
